Gather Cook Feast

Written by Toast co-founder Jessica Seaton, ‘Gather Cook Feast’ celebrates the connection between the food we eat and the land on which we live in over 120 simple seasonal recipes. We highlighted Jessica‘s poetic use of prose on chapter openers, with enlarged words pulled from the copy which hint at each chapter’s particular focus. Whilst allowing the publication to be a standalone piece, we also made a gentle nod to Toast’s design heritage by using a mixture of their typefaces Trade Gothic and Sabon.
