Cartujano SS18

Predominately working with horse skin, Cartujano is a leather goods company based in Mallorca, Spain. CHD was approached by them to conceive and art direct their SS18 campaign. Taking inspiration from their Spanish heritage we subtly referenced matadors, Spanish art, and equestrian hardware within the visuals. Each product image was conceived to pair with a ‘mood’ still life, allowing the images to stand alone or as paired landscapes. This added greater versatility to the images, which were used for the website, look book and in-store visual merchandising. Photography by Rahel Weiss, set design by Joanna Goodman.
